Update 2019

In the current build:

Dgraph version   : v1.0.11

The Issue seems to be no longer seen. After some local tests I realized that it does not happen anymore. However, you can use @cascade directive to be able to exclude Nodes that do not have all the predicates listed. But Cascade Does not work with expand(_all_).
