@hardik Has this been added to the roadmap yet?

Another (IMO important) feature that depends on this are `@lambda` [field resolvers](http://discuss.hypermode.com/t/subscriptions-lambda-field-resolver/13934/2): Subscriptions that are listening on `@lambda` fields, are currently failing. The reason for this is that data is polled, which would lead to huge network load between dgraph and dgraph-lambda. Therefore, this feature is currently disabled.

Event-based subscriptions would solve this.
