Delay when setting a Cache

In the example provided on the repo it tells us to wait 10 milliseconds. Is there a way to do this without introducing a delay?

It is by design - because it is designed to be eventually contestant. From the introduction post:

Even if a Set gets applied, it might take a few milliseconds after the call has returned to the user. In database terms, it is an eventual consistency model.
