Add new alphas and zeros to existing cluster

I have a Dgraph cluster of one Zero and one Alpha with no replication.

I want to add scale by

  1. adding more memory(SSD) to existing instance
  2. add more instance

I am unable to find the documentation for that. I would like to know the steps required do so and does dgraph auto reshrad data between old and new instance ?

If you use k8s, you only need to increase the replicaCount of alpha.
