Can’t add labels, do you want us to copy content or just links to current discuss topics?
Copying the content is better.
Is this for Issues and Features, or just Issues / Bugs ?
J
Use it however you like.
Right, but it is an echo chamber if the DGraph team does not use it as well for follow ups, give updates on the bugs and features, and track and close all issues.
What use did you have in mind?
J
Would it make sense to also use GitHub Discussions? This would enable cross referencing to issues, code and PRs. Also allows conversion of discussion threads/comments to issues, this could help with signal to noise.
Having github/discussion + discourse/discussion feels like making more noise than signal to me. Unless if each of them have clear, explicit and distinct purpose…
Nice we are back to GitHub issues again!
Are you planning to copy existing issues from discuss to GitHub as you did before when you moved from GitHub issues to discuss? Or are you planning to maintain both places for issues?
Sorry, we don’t have the bandwidth to copy Discuss issues over to GitHub. But, I suppose you could just reopen the issues? Or, add a comment there to let us know, so we can do it on your behalf.
Good to know and fine with me. Just to know it is worth the effort and you are not going to do it anyway.
Looks like GitHub issues is not used for Dgraph4j, is it?
@EnricoMi thanks for calling this out…fixing in the repo. GitHub Issues is preferred route now.
