Django ORM Integration

Hey there. Congrats on the round. Really exciting to see GraphQL support from the start.

Are there any plans to introduce support for Django? Django is by far the most robust MVC webapp framework (over Rails, Laravel, Flask) and the Python ecosystem blows everything else out of the water for data science.

• Neomodel lets you create Django models for Neo4j, but has no GraphQL support.
  GitHub - neo4j-contrib/django-neomodel: neomodel plugin for Django

• Graphene lets you create Django models that are GraphQL capable, but they don’t support a Neo4j backend.
  GitHub - graphql-python/graphene-django: Integrate GraphQL into your Django project.

Ideally, the queryset output would support pandas serialization of edges, nodes, and triplets.

Thanks for the bringing this up.Yes, Django is by far the most popular MVC web framework. Dgraph’s additions would help our python users. Shall discuss this further with the team.
