Can the Groot account still log in after the expiration of the enterprise version?

I think you’ll be able to login after expiration of the enterprise version but won’t be able to use the enterprise features. Tagging @MichelDiz to confirm.
That’s a good question. As Groot is part of the ACL and ACL is enterprise. In theory it shouldn’t be possible to log in. In fact, we should understand and document what happens after expiration.
I think that maybe it just disables ACL and all data is directly accessible.

That’s correct. After the enterprise features expire, ACL would be disabled so any user can access the data. There would be no need to log in anymore. I agree this should be documented and include what happens to the rest of the enterprise features when the license expires.

Does this mean that ratel is no longer accessible?
Ratel is not an enterprise feature. It’s available with the open source version.
