It would be great if a user can see open census tracing within Slash. For e.g., we could host Jaeger, and capture the traces and show them from within the dashboard.

This is interesting as it is something I am researching and opened two JIRA tickets on it, one for the basic dev environment and a more robust production-ready version. The Kubernetes version is far more complex, uses a Kubernetes operator, can use Cassandra or ElasticSearch datastore, as well as support the pipeline with Spark or Kafka/Flink.
